On May 16, 2025, Guangdong Songda New Materials Co., Ltd. unveiled its doctoral workstation. Company leader Sun Qilong stated that the platform will attract more doctoral talent, conduct technical research around core businesses, and enhance the company's core competitiveness. In June, the company's Technical Director, Dr. Sun Qilong, was invited to attend the "5th China Radiation Curing (UV/EB) Adhesive Innovation Forum" to share technical achievements and demonstrate the company's technical strength and industry influence in the field of UV-curable materials.

On August 5, 2024, the headquarters and R&D center were officially relocated, and the office and R&D center area was expanded. The Guangdong Province Key Field R&D Plan was rated as a national-level specialized and innovative "Little Giant" enterprise; it received financial rewards from Huangpu District; and held 3 special job fairs in Yunfu and Huangpu to vigorously recruit talents.

Established an independent R&D center in the South China New Materials Science and Technology Park; achieved large-scale production of recyclable UV materials; and launched new water-based and silicone-fluorine products. The company successfully applied for designation as a municipal-level innovation and entrepreneurship team and filed for three invention patents and three utility model patents. Completed Series A equity financing with Suikai Investment as the investor; in the same year, a 30-acre intelligent production base was put into operation in Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, with 38 automated production lines and an annual production capacity of 16,000 tons, realizing dedicated kettles and full process automation control

On January 3, 2020, the company received equity financing from Shenzhen Hi-Tech Investment, with funds primarily used to expand its laboratory and pilot production lines. The company specializes in the research and development and production of photosensitive resins. After years of research and development, using a step-by-step condensation technique, it synthesized a white, toughened polyurethane-modified silicone acrylate resin material with an intermolecular microphase separation structure, ultimately developing an "optical UV adhesive for large screens." This product was certified as one of the first applications of Guangzhou's key new materials in 2020, filling a domestic gap and breaking the monopoly of foreign products.

• Established the Guangdong Provincial Functional Photosensitive Materials Engineering Technology Research Center. The doctoral team has successively won awards in the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and received support from the Guangzhou Luogang District Entrepreneurship Leading Talent Project, demonstrating the company's innovative strength in the new materials field.

On March 28, 2014, the company was registered and established in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. It took UV light-curing materials as its entry point and positioned itself as an integrated enterprise of "scientific research + production + technical services".
